Traffic
Synopsis of the work:
Following the line of self-fiction in which the Franco-Uruguayan playwright Sergio Blanco has been making incursions for some years now, his latest theatrical text Traffic is a monologue that recounts the life of a young prostitute on the outskirts of some Latin American city that little by little he is entering the hitman. With the only stage support being the presence of his Yamaha FZ6R sports bike, the text tells us of Alex's adventures, his encounters and misunderstandings with his clients, and especially his relationship with a client he calls "the Frenchman" and who little to little is making him enter a complex history tinged with crime .
As the piece progresses and from Alex's passionate bond with this playwright who is permanently named and who is writing a text about the biblical character of Judas Iscariot, the story will access the darkest areas of Alex's life who, parallel to his trade as a prostitute, will gradually transform into a hit man. Little by little this will begin to emerge, a fascinating plot that will mix the erotic narration of his sexual encounters with his clients and the macabre narration of his violent encounters with the people he has to murder on request.
